Seriously, why?

Whyyyy is the weather out to get me? I cannot believe what I woke up to....I was out very very late last night (this morning), so you can imagine my surprise at 12:50 pm when I pulled my blinds back to view the blizzard. I'm truly sick of this. From 3-6 I was supposed to have a call in today, which could potentially mean an extra shift, but I'm supposed to go to Royal Oak tonight so I got it covered. If the snow doesn't stop I don't know if I'm going to be able to go...unless Will wants to drive...which he probably does...but I'll still be incredibly nervous the entire way there. He has 4-wheel drive, and is an expert snow driver, but I still get really panicky during this ridiculous weather. Sigh. My aunt Nina is in town from North Carolina, and I haven't seen her in such a long time. I don't want to miss this gathering tonight. Grrr.

In other news, last night was a great time. A lot of my girlfriends and I have been planning an outing, but for multiple reasons it's kept getting postponed. We finally made it out together, minus one girl, and braved the -5 degree weather to have a great time. It was all great minus the near frostbitten toes at least... Some pictures:

It was a very nice time! I don't particuraly want to go out again until it warms up just a bit...but I know we're going to have many good times this semester!

Please cross your fingers that it stops snowing soon. I don't know what I'm going to do next weekend up north. Hopefully just stay completely nested at the house, and never have to leave. :)
